Give your BMW F30 3 Series Saloon a lower, more purposeful stance and sharper responses with an H&R Lowering Spring Kit. These vehicle-specific springs are designed to work with the original dampers while retaining everyday road usability.

How to choose the correct kit

  1. Check the drivetrain: xDrive/4WD cars use the dedicated 28832-1 kit. The other four kits are for rear-wheel-drive (2WD) cars.
  2. Choose the amount of lowering: the standard version lowers by approximately 30 mm; the low version lowers by approximately 40–45 mm.
  3. Check the permitted front-axle weight: use the maximum figure marked for Axle 1 on the vehicle identification/VIN plate—not the vehicle kerb weight—then select the matching weight band below.

Do not choose by engine badge alone. The same engine can fall into different axle-load bands depending on the car’s specification and optional equipment.

It is caused by the different components of the suspension system all moving in their designed paths, which together generate changes in direction and multiple forces on the wheel and tyre, making the steering and suspension operate in particular ways.

I was slightly apprehensive that the stock dampers might be exposed but I needn't have worried, the car rides exactly as I'd expect & want from a roadgoing M-car. The real revelation is the steering, I could feel the difference as soon as I turned out of your premises. Gone is the sluggish, heavy response - it's now quick, effortless & accurate, almost as if the power steering had been switched off beforehand. The car feels like it's 200kg lighter but at the same time, more solid & composed. For me, it's a perfectly-judged road setup - thanks again

Recently bought a 2025 M3 LCI which seemed ok out of the box. In the wet there was quite bad understeer and slightly unpredictable transition into oversteer. The CS+ handling package transformed the car. The grip is ridiculous, feel is improved, can really lean on the car. Driving in the wet traction is like it’s dry, extremely stable. Car is predictable, any transition to understeer or oversteer is communicated and feels like slow motion with plenty of time to correct. Feel like all the handling of a CS car with all the comfort or a regular M car. Absolutely love the car now.
