KW DDC ECU explained

The KW DDC ECU system allows you to select from three vehicle-specific damper presets. These settings are 'comfort', 'sport' and 'sport+'. These presets are selectable using your BMW's existing EDC suspension mode selector.

The comfort preset is ideal for city driving, commuting or driving on rough tarmac. The comfort preset utilises the full range of damper movement to maximise road comfort and compliance. When this setting is selected, the damper is electronically active and it automatically adjusts its damping in response to road conditions and bumps.

The sport preset is ideal for spirited fast road driving as it provides additional body control and grip.

The sport+ preset is for track driving, and it maximises the stiffness and body control offered by the dampers.
