KW V4 Clubsport coilovers for the BMW G42 2 Series

Track-focused three-way adjustable coilovers with front top mounts and road-use approval.

RWD fitment: 218i 115kW, 220i 135kW, 220d 140kW, 230i 180/190kW and M240i RWD 245/275/285kW.

xDrive fitment: currently listed by KW for the M240i xDrive 275kW only. KW does not currently list this kit for the 245kW or 285kW xDrive versions.

Selecting the correct kit

Select the exact model, drivetrain and power output shown in the vehicle-configuration option. For V1, V2 and V3, also select whether the car has factory electronic dampers. Electronic-damper variants include the required cancellation kit.

If you are unsure, contact our team with the VIN before ordering and we will confirm the correct application.

KW-approved lowering range is application dependent. The G42 applications are generally approximately 25-45 mm or 30-50 mm at the front and 25-45 mm or 35-55 mm at the rear.

Geometry
Suspension geometry is the positioning and angular movement of the suspension arms and the effect that they have upon the movement of the wheel and tyre. It is caused by the different components of the suspension system all moving in their designed paths, which together generate changes in direction and multiple forces on the wheel and tyre, making the steering and suspension operate in particular ways.

The results have exceeded my expectations, I'm really pleased with the car. The ride is similar to stock but it's taken the jitteryness away over small ripples in the road. I was slightly apprehensive that the stock dampers might be exposed but I needn't have worried, the car rides exactly as I'd expect & want from a roadgoing M-car. The real revelation is the steering, I could feel the difference as soon as I turned out of your premises. Gone is the sluggish, heavy response - it's now quick, effortless & accurate, almost as if the power steering had been switched off beforehand. The car feels like it's 200kg lighter but at the same time, more solid & composed. For me, it's a perfectly-judged road setup - thanks again

Recently bought a 2025 M3 LCI which seemed ok out of the box. In the wet there was quite bad understeer and slightly unpredictable transition into oversteer. The CS+ handling package transformed the car. The grip is ridiculous, feel is improved, can really lean on the car. Driving in the wet traction is like it’s dry, extremely stable. Car is predictable, any transition to understeer or oversteer is communicated and feels like slow motion with plenty of time to correct. Feel like all the handling of a CS car with all the comfort or a regular M car. Absolutely love the car now.
