Increase cornering performance, ride comfort and refinement and chassis control with MOTON 3-Way Coilovers for the Lotus Emira.

The Lotus Emira can be specified with either Touring or Sports suspension from the factory, but neither suspension option is perfect. Some owners have stated the Touring Suspension is still too stiff for road use, whilst others have explained the Sports suspension is too soft for intensive track day driving.

To solve this we've partnered with MOTON to help develop the MOTON 3-Way coilover kit for the Lotus Emira. This kit features 3-way independent damper adjustability with 15 clicks of high speed compression; 6 clicks of low speed compression and 15 clicks of rebound, all being controlled through 3 independent adjusters.

This gives you complete control over how your Lotus handles and rides. The low speed compression and low speed rebound settings can be set to a nice stiff setting for good mechanical grip and responsiveness in the corners, whilst the high speed compression can be set to a very soft setting to ensure the car is supple over undulations and bumps.

This allows your Lotus to be more comfortable when driving on the road and far more capable when on the circuit.

The key features of MOTON 3-Way Coilovers for the Lotus Emira are:

  • 3-way independent damping adjustment (15 clicks of high-speed compression, 6 clicks of low-speed compression, 15 clicks of low-speed rebound)
  • Fully ride-height adjustable
  • Remote reservoirs included
  • Spring rates can be customised to customer preference
  • Extreme reliability gained from decades of endurance racing success
Geometry Explained

Geometry
Suspension geometry is the positioning and angular movement of the suspension arms and the effect that they have upon the movement of the wheel and tyre. It is caused by the different components of the suspension system all moving in their designed paths, which together generate changes in direction and multiple forces on the wheel and tyre, making the steering and suspension operate in particular ways.
