Lowering the front ride height is a great way to improve the braking stability and turn-in response of your 992 GT3. A lower front ride height can create bump steer, leading to vague and inaccurate steering when pushing hard on track.

To solve this issue, we've created our Suspension Secrets Bump Steer Adjustable Tie Rod Ends for the Porsche 911 GT3 (992). Our bump steer tie rod ends are fully adjustable and can be shimmed to eliminate bump steer completely from your GT3.

Geometry Explained

Bump Steer
Bump steer is highly undesirable within racing especially on tracks or surfaces that contain bumps. If the suspension is constantly transitioning between bump and droop, then a car with bump steer will constantly be shifting the steering angle of the car and will make the front end very unstable at high speeds. The bump steer in the system will affect the precisely designed Ackermann steering geometry and will make the steering more unpredictable for the driver.

Bump steer can provide an advantage to the rear end of a car on a smooth circuit effectively providing “active toe” during cornering. This can be used on a front wheel drive car to produce toe out, when the suspension is in bump, at the rear of the car to encourage oversteer on turn in; removing understeer characteristics.

I was slightly apprehensive that the stock dampers might be exposed but I needn't have worried, the car rides exactly as I'd expect & want from a roadgoing M-car. The real revelation is the steering, I could feel the difference as soon as I turned out of your premises. Gone is the sluggish, heavy response - it's now quick, effortless & accurate, almost as if the power steering had been switched off beforehand. Recently bought a 2025 M3 LCI which seemed ok out of the box. In the wet there was quite bad understeer and slightly unpredictable transition into oversteer. The CS+ handling package transformed the car. The grip is ridiculous, feel is improved, can really lean on the car. Driving in the wet traction is like it’s dry, extremely stable. Car is predictable, any transition to understeer or oversteer is communicated and feels like slow motion with plenty of time to correct. Feel like all the handling of a CS car with all the comfort or a regular M car. Absolutely love the car now.
