The AST Suspension 5300 Series coilover kit utilises inverted damper technology. This technology is proven to produce an extremely strong damper, and provide better suspension geometry under heavy lateral and braking loads. Ideal for track and circuit environments.

With the 5300 Series suspension you can adjust rebound with one knob (range of 12 positions), with an alternate knob for high speed compression (range of 12 positions), and an additional knob for low speed adjustment (range of 14 positions) on a remote reservoir. A progression from the 5200 Series (2 way) dampers, allow you to be able to independently adjust the rebound, low speed compression and high speed compression. Whilst the adjust platform allows you to adjust the ride height of your car. AST Suspension coilover kits are specially designed to keep maximum stroke, even with a lower ride height.

Geometry Explained

Geometry
Suspension geometry is the positioning and angular movement of the suspension arms and the effect that they have upon the movement of the wheel and tyre. It is caused by the different components of the suspension system all moving in their designed paths, which together generate changes in direction and multiple forces on the wheel and tyre, making the steering and suspension operate in particular ways.

The results have exceeded my expectations, I'm really pleased with the car. The ride is similar to stock but it's taken the jitteryness away over small ripples in the road. I was slightly apprehensive that the stock dampers might be exposed but I needn't have worried, the car rides exactly as I'd expect & want from a roadgoing M-car. The real revelation is the steering, I could feel the difference as soon as I turned out of your premises. Gone is the sluggish, heavy response - it's now quick, effortless & accurate, almost as if the power steering had been switched off beforehand. The car feels like it's 200kg lighter but at the same time, more solid & composed. For me, it's a perfectly-judged road setup - thanks again

Recently bought a 2025 M3 LCI which seemed ok out of the box. In the wet there was quite bad understeer and slightly unpredictable transition into oversteer. The CS+ handling package transformed the car. The grip is ridiculous, feel is improved, can really lean on the car. Driving in the wet traction is like it’s dry, extremely stable. Car is predictable, any transition to understeer or oversteer is communicated and feels like slow motion with plenty of time to correct. Feel like all the handling of a CS car with all the comfort or a regular M car. Absolutely love the car now.
