Nitron R1s are high quality, race-proven coilovers that are ideal for intensive track and fast road use.

The R1 kit focuses on delivery performance, consistency and reliability. The key features of Nitron R1s include:

Nitron's experience in providing suspension for the motorsport industry gives the R1 system a strong competition pedigree. As a result, Nitron R1s are reliable and high performing even under the toughest conditions which makes them ideal for track day use. Despite this motorsport inspiration, the R1 kit also works well as a fast road coilover due its the high quality construction and performance.

R1s are independently height-adjustable, meaning your BMW can be corner weighted; have its ride height adjusted, and for rake angle to put into the chassis.

Our strong working relationship with Nitron means we can specify custom spring rates to suit the individual needs of our customers. Please get in touch if you require bespoke spring rates.

PLEASE NOTE (i) - Nitron coilovers are hand-built to order. The lead time is usually 2-3 weeks.

PLEASE NOTE (ii) - vehicles fitted with BMW Electronic Damper Control (EDC) will require a delete kit to prevent error codes from occurring.

Geometry
Suspension geometry is the positioning and angular movement of the suspension arms and the effect that they have upon the movement of the wheel and tyre. It is caused by the different components of the suspension system all moving in their designed paths, which together generate changes in direction and multiple forces on the wheel and tyre, making the steering and suspension operate in particular ways.

I was slightly apprehensive that the stock dampers might be exposed but I needn't have worried, the car rides exactly as I'd expect & want from a roadgoing M-car. The real revelation is the steering, I could feel the difference as soon as I turned out of your premises. Gone is the sluggish, heavy response - it's now quick, effortless & accurate, almost as if the power steering had been switched off beforehand. The car feels like it's 200kg lighter but at the same time, more solid & composed. For me, it's a perfectly-judged road setup - thanks again

Recently bought a 2025 M3 LCI which seemed ok out of the box. In the wet there was quite bad understeer and slightly unpredictable transition into oversteer. The CS+ handling package transformed the car. The grip is ridiculous, feel is improved, can really lean on the car. Driving in the wet traction is like it’s dry, extremely stable. Car is predictable, any transition to understeer or oversteer is communicated and feels like slow motion with plenty of time to correct. Feel like all the handling of a CS car with all the comfort or a regular M car. Absolutely love the car now.
