Improve front-end grip, steering feel and handling precision with Suspension Secrets Adjustable Camber & Caster Top Mounts for the Porsche 981 and 718 Cayman GTS.
Designed for fast road driving and track use, these precision-engineered camber plates provide a significantly greater range of Porsche Cayman GTS camber adjustment while adding up to +2.0 degrees of positive caster (depending on ride height) to improve steering feel, stability and cornering performance.
The stock GTS front suspension offers up to -1.0 degrees of negative camber adjustment. With our top mounts installed, it's possible to achieve -2.3 degrees on standard road springs, and up to -3.1 degrees on lowering springs.
Our Cayman GTS front camber plates also allow the fitment of Cayman GT4 front tyre size 255/35ZR20.
Manufactured in-house in the UK from billet 6061-T6 aluminium and fitted with motorsport-grade spherical bearings, they are a direct replacement for the factory top mounts and remain fully compatible with OEM dampers and PASM suspension.
For drivers looking for a serious Porsche Cayman GTS suspension upgrade, these camber plates allow the alignment settings needed to unlock the full capability of the Cayman chassis.
Both the Porsche 981 Cayman GTS and 718 Cayman GTS feature adjustable front camber from the factory. However, the available adjustment range is limited due to the concentric mounting position of the original Porsche top mounts.
In most cases the maximum achievable camber is just -1.0 degrees, depending on ride height.
For everyday driving this may be sufficient, but when the car is driven harder or fitted with track-grade tyres, the limitation becomes clear.
Common handling complaints include:
Mid-corner understeer
Excessive outer shoulder tyre wear
Imprecise turn-in response
Front tyres overheating during spirited driving
Increasing front camber is one of the most effective ways to improve front tyre performance and overall handling balance.
You cannot adjust front camber on the GTS using shims due to a lack of space in the lower control arm assembly. The Cayman GT4 and GT4 RS are equipped with split coffin arms, which do allow the use of front camber shims.
Our Suspension Secrets Camber Caster Top Mounts for the Porsche 981 / 718 Cayman GTS reposition the strut mounting point using a carefully engineered offset mounting position.
This provides significantly greater camber adjustment without pulling the wheel forwards in the arch. The result is a cleaner and more effective solution for drivers looking for Porsche Cayman GTS camber plates that allow proper suspension setup without compromising wheel position.
With our GTS top mounts you can achieve up to -2.3 degrees of front camber with standard road springs, and up to -3.1 degrees with lowering springs.
Our top mounts also incorporate up to +2.0 degree increase in positive caster (ride height dependent) compared with the factory mounts.
Increasing caster provides:
Improved steering feedback and feel
Greater steering weight and precision
Increased high-speed stability
Improved dynamic camber gain during cornering
The result is a more responsive and confidence-inspiring front end, particularly when driving quickly on road or track.
Increased negative camber adjustment for Porsche 981 / 718 Cayman GTS
Up to +2.0 degree positive caster increase through fixed offset design
Ideal for fast road driving and track days
Precision machined from billet 6061-T6 aluminium
High-performance motorsport-grade spherical bearings
Direct replacement for OEM Porsche top mounts
Compatible with OEM dampers and PASM suspension
Designed and manufactured in the UK
Increasing front camber and caster can significantly improve how the Cayman GTS chassis behaves when pushed hard.
With the correct suspension setup, these top mounts help deliver:
Sharper turn-in response
Greater mid-corner front grip
Reduced outer shoulder tyre wear
More consistent steering feedback
Greater confidence during high-speed driving
For enthusiastic drivers, these improvements make the car feel more precise, balanced and predictable.
These GTS top mounts were developed using our experience in vehicle dynamics and suspension tuning, including extensive suspension geometry work on Porsche road and track cars.
Every component is designed, machined and assembled in-house in the UK, ensuring precise fitment and durability for high-performance driving.
Our Suspension Secrets Camber Caster Plate Top Mounts are designed for:
Compatible with:
Material: Billet 6061-T6 aluminium
Bearings: Spherical motorsport-grade
Camber adjustment: Up to -2.3 degrees with stock springs, and up to -3.1 degrees with lowering springs
Caster increase: Up to +2.0 degrees fixed offset
Installation: Direct bolt-on replacement
The exact camber available depends on ride height and alignment setup, but the offset design allows significantly greater adjustment than the factory mounts, enabling proper fast road and track setups. It's possible to achieve -2.5 degrees of negative camber with stock road springs, and up to -3.2 degrees with lowering springs.
Yes. These camber plates are fully compatible with OEM PASM dampers and install directly in place of the original top mounts.
Yes. They are designed primarily for fast road and occasional track use, providing improved steering feel and suspension precision while remaining suitable for road-driven cars.
These Suspension Secrets camber and caster top mounts provide increased alignment adjustment for drivers looking to improve the handling balance and front-end grip of the Porsche Cayman GTS.
Camber
Camber angle is the angle between the plane of a wheel and the vertical. It is described as positive when the top of the wheel leans outward and negative when the top of the wheel leans inward. Camber angle alters the handling characteristics of a suspension system.
Caster
Caster is the measure of how far forward or behind the steering axis is to the vertical axis, viewed from the side. This is measured by drawing a line between the top and bottom pivot points of the front upright. The angle between the drawn line and vertical is the caster angle
