Increase chassis rigidity and your sense of connection to your GTR's chassis by installing Suspension Secrets Front and Rear Upper Wishbone Monoballs for the Mercedes AMG GTR.
The OEM suspension bushes in the front and rear upper wishbones of the AMG GTR are made of a soft and flexible rubber. This rubber is good for isolating harshness, but it also robs the driver of good sense of connection to the chassis as the rubber flexes during cornering. This flexing rubber causes the suspension geometry to alter dynamically when cornering, particularly in regards to the front and rear camber angles. As these camber angles change dynamically, this creates uneven levels of cornering grip when driving fast.
To solve this, we created the Suspension Secrets Front and Rear Upper Wishbone Monoballs for Mercedes AMG GTR.
Replacing the OEM rubber bushes with solid billet-aluminium monoball bushes eliminates unwanted flex in the suspension system. Removing the flexible rubber ensures the suspension geometry remains fixed during corners, resulting in higher levels of grip and stability.
Solid bushes also ensure cornering forces are transmitted to the chassis more quickly, resulting in a chassis that is faster to change direction and to respond to steering inputs on road and track.
The key features of the Suspension Secrets Front and Rear Upper Wishbone Monoballs for the Mercedes AMG GTR are:
- Increased feedback through chassis during cornering
- Improved levels of grip and stability when cornering
- Increased chassis rigidity when cornering
- 8x Aerospace-grade 6082 T6 billet aluminium housings with high-performance bearings
