Increase cornering grip and stability with our Suspension Secrets Adjustable Rear Upper Third Link Arms for the BMW E82 1M.

As standard, the BMW 1M's rear upper third links are not adjustable. This can create an issue and increased tension on the third links when setting high levels of camber at the rear axle using an adjustable upper rear camber arm. 

To solve this, we designed our Suspension Secrets BMW E82 1M Adjustable Rear Upper Third Link Arms, which allow for a greater range of camber adjustment and allow for the safe adjustment of camber at the rear axle for track use. 

The main benefits of our Suspension Secrets Adjustable Rear Upper Third Link Arms for the BMW E82 1M are:

  • Greatly increased cornering grip and stability
  • Wider range of rear camber adjustment compared to stock, allowing more aggressive set ups to be applied
  • Reduced binding of ball joints and bearings when track camber settings are installed
  • Improved mid-corner and corner-exit traction
  • Increased chassis balance from increased negative rear camber
  • Necessary to make best use of semi-slick or slick tyres

Geometry Explained

Geometry
Suspension geometry is the positioning and angular movement of the suspension arms and the effect that they have upon the movement of the wheel and tyre. It is caused by the different components of the suspension system all moving in their designed paths, which together generate changes in direction and multiple forces on the wheel and tyre, making the steering and suspension operate in particular ways.

Product Development

All Suspension Secrets upgrades are designed, developed and manufactured in-house. This process includes prototyping new products using CAD and 3D printing technology, and extensive rear-world testing with professional racing drivers. Sophisticated motorsport data capturing equipment allows us to measure the handling performance gains achieved by our parts.

I was slightly apprehensive that the stock dampers might be exposed but I needn't have worried, the car rides exactly as I'd expect & want from a roadgoing M-car. The real revelation is the steering, I could feel the difference as soon as I turned out of your premises. Gone is the sluggish, heavy response - it's now quick, effortless & accurate, almost as if the power steering had been switched off beforehand. The car feels like it's 200kg lighter but at the same time, more solid & composed. For me, it's a perfectly-judged road setup - thanks again

Recently bought a 2025 M3 LCI which seemed ok out of the box. In the wet there was quite bad understeer and slightly unpredictable transition into oversteer. The CS+ handling package transformed the car. The grip is ridiculous, feel is improved, can really lean on the car. Driving in the wet traction is like it’s dry, extremely stable. Car is predictable, any transition to understeer or oversteer is communicated and feels like slow motion with plenty of time to correct. Feel like all the handling of a CS car with all the comfort or a regular M car. Absolutely love the car now.
