The Suspension Secrets Toyota GR Yaris Handling Pack 3 takes all of the upgraded components that are featured in Handling Pack 2 and adds fully adjustable coilovers.
Fully adjustable coilovers give you complete control over the dynamic character of your GR Yaris and allow you to determine if the car is stiff and aggressive, or soft and supple. They also allow you to fine tune the ride height of your Yaris.
The Suspension Secrets Toyota GR Yaris Handling Pack 3 includes:
KW V3 Coilovers
KW's V3 Coilovers for the GR Yaris are fully height-adjustable and offer 16 clicks of rebound damping and 12 clicks of compression damping.
This independent adjustability is a great tool for fine-tuning the dynamic characteristics of your GR Yaris. The ability to control how the car reacts and responds to driver inputs and road surfaces means you can find a setting that suits your driving style perfectly.
The height adjustable collars on the KW V3s also allow you to set the ride heights at each of the four wheels, which enables your Yaris to be corner weighted.
Hardrace Rear Upper Camber Kit
Negative camber on the front axle of a car is essential for tackling understeer, but negative camber on the rear axle is also a very important thing to consider in relation to the overall handling characteristics of a car.
Hardrace adjustable rear camber arms improve the amount of camber achievable on the GR Yaris' rear axle. This additional camber increases the amount of traction available on the rear axle during cornering, particularly on corner exit, which is essential for an all-wheel drive car like the GR Yaris.
Having increased negative rear camber also allows the Yaris to adopt a far more neutral cornering stance as both axles work in tandem with one another.
PowerFlex Front Control Arm Caster Bushings
PowerFlex's caster bushes are a great upgrade for the GR Yaris and they bring a variety of dynamic benefits including improved braking, better steering feel and more precise steering.
Most notably, positive caster improves dynamic camber gain, which enables more of the tyre's contact patch to be used during cornering whilst reducing the amount of static camber required - this means better cornering speeds but also increased high speed stability and braking stability.
Caster also improves steering feel, and the high self-centring torque created by these caster bushes allows for you to exit corners far more smoothly as the wheel re-centres far more progressively.
Geometry
Suspension geometry is the positioning and angular movement of the suspension arms and the effect that they have upon the movement of the wheel and tyre. It is caused by the different components of the suspension system all moving in their designed paths, which together generate changes in direction and multiple forces on the wheel and tyre, making the steering and suspension operate in particular ways.
All Suspension Secrets upgrades are designed, developed and manufactured in-house.
