If you use your Corvette C8 out on track then you will have experienced instability when pushing hard. This is caused by the original rubber bushings in the front and rear control arms flexing and moving around. This flexing causes the rear camber and toe angles to change dynamically, resulting in inconsistent levels of cornering grip and instability.
The harder you start to drive and the more grip you add into the car with better tires, the larger this flex and deflection becomes. This is exactly what you don't want....driving faster results in less stability and grip levels with the standard rubber bushings.
To solve this, we've designed our Suspension Secrets Front and Rear Control Arm Monoball Bushing Complete Kit for the Corvette C8 Z06/Z07/ZR1. Our bushings are machined billet aluminium with solid motorsport-grade Rodoball spherical bearings that replace the OEM rubber bushings. Our solid bushings ensure cornering forces are transferred immediately from the tyres into the chassis.
This increased responsiveness between tyres and chassis results in better feedback and response. Simply put: driver input immediately matched by chassis output.
Our solid bushings also ensure front and rear camber and toe settings remain constant during a corner, resulting in greatly improved cornering stability and traction.
This kit includes: Rear Lower Monoball Bushings, Front Upper Monoball Bushings, Rear Upper Monoball Bushings. 12 Bushings in total.
The key features of the Suspension Secrets Front and Rear Control Arm Monoball Bushing Complete Kit for the C8 Corvette are:
Please note that our complete kit does not include front lower control arm bushings as replacing these results in vibration from the electronic steering system. Until a software update is available for the steering system.
Geometry
Suspension geometry is the positioning and angular movement of the suspension arms and the effect that they have upon the movement of the wheel and tyre. It is caused by the different components of the suspension system all moving in their designed paths, which together generate changes in direction and multiple forces on the wheel and tyre, making the steering and suspension operate in particular ways.
All Suspension Secrets upgrades are designed, developed and manufactured in-house. This process includes prototyping new products using CAD and 3D printing technology, and extensive rear-world testing with professional racing drivers. Sophisticated motorsport data capturing equipment allows us to measure the handling performance gains achieved by our parts.
All parts purchased on our website are shipped internationally free of charge. We accept return requests made within 14 days of receipt of the item.
